What's Next?

Well, at this point I think folks are wrapping up their painting year. I've got a few on the burner but they won't be done for at least a week.

So, what do folks want to do for next year? Continue? Close this down as a nice memory of 2009?

  1. As a follower and would-be painter, I hope you *do* keep this (or something similar) going in 2010. It's been both entertaining and, I dare say, inspirational.

  2. I'm definitely going to truck on ahead and do another 52. I found that the site was a nice, extra kick in the pants to keep me painting. Plus, I finally rearranged my office so that I have a nice painting/work area.

OTOH, I don't see racing to 52 as a requirement to post here. I think it's just a useful space to show off our work to each other.

  3. Agreed. I'm going for it.

I'm also tacking on a goal of 6 "Big Projects", such as vehicles, set pieces, scenery peices, etc...

Maybe I'll kick the year off with that list I made of things I'd >like< to build and paint in 2010.

    LET'S DO IT!!!

  4. Definately keep it going. The guilt complex I develop when I see the progress other painters have made definately spurs me on. Ok I did'nt quite get to 52 miniatures completed this year, despite my stated aim to increase production, but there is always next year.

    Keep on painting.

  7. I'm up for another round of it. It's been the kick I needed to get some stuff done this last month.

Speaking of, I have a bunch of photos waiting to be downloaded and put up. probably in the next few days.

  8. As a dedicated follower, I really appreciated the site for looking at the great work being done. And knowing that people aren't going to stop painting, I'd like to see it continue.
