As a follower and would-be painter, I hope you *do* keep this (or something similar) going in 2010. It's been both entertaining and, I dare say, inspirational.
I'm definitely going to truck on ahead and do another 52. I found that the site was a nice, extra kick in the pants to keep me painting. Plus, I finally rearranged my office so that I have a nice painting/work area.OTOH, I don't see racing to 52 as a requirement to post here. I think it's just a useful space to show off our work to each other.
Agreed. I'm going for it. I'm also tacking on a goal of 6 "Big Projects", such as vehicles, set pieces, scenery peices, etc...Maybe I'll kick the year off with that list I made of things I'd >like< to build and paint in 2010.LET'S DO IT!!!
Definately keep it going. The guilt complex I develop when I see the progress other painters have made definately spurs me on. Ok I did'nt quite get to 52 miniatures completed this year, despite my stated aim to increase production, but there is always next year. Keep on painting.
I hope this site stays up--heck, I'd even like to get in on the action.
Nothing's stopping you, slap paint and take pics.
I'm up for another round of it. It's been the kick I needed to get some stuff done this last month.Speaking of, I have a bunch of photos waiting to be downloaded and put up. probably in the next few days.
As a dedicated follower, I really appreciated the site for looking at the great work being done. And knowing that people aren't going to stop painting, I'd like to see it continue.
Ok, next five minis converted. Ready for 2010!
