First Batch, 2010

My catharsis paid dividends! Opening out the first two weeks of progress with eight new minis. I picked some basic ones to get the engine going (critters and the ghoul lord) to make gains on some more intricate ones (skinsaw man and rogue). Pretty happy, overall. Even got better with my new camera.

All of these are for my Pathfinder game. The Rabbit surrounded by rats is a pet of the previously posted Gnome (Tig), who rescued it from Thistletop and named it thusly. Fans of the series will know why (don't wanna give no spoilers!).

  1. The ghoul lord is supposed to have a mold growing on him, to foreshadow a story plot. I dunno if it came out looking like mold or a mistake. *shrug*

  2. Very nice! I particularly like the Skinsaw man. I do something similar, too - a simple mini is a good way to get momentum before tackling a bigger project.

  6. @ everyone: Thanks! :)

@ Joe: Yes, they do. Garrity sculpts, they come in a pack of four from Reaper. I mount everything on plastic square GW bases myself, but the cobblestone is part of the mini.

@Gospog: That one is originally from Crocodile Games for the Pathfinder line. Reaper Miniatures have the molds as a switchover agreement and are the ones who can make it now, but they have not released it (yet). *Might* be able to get it from channel distributors who have stock (FLGS, ho!).
